Job Summary

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Come grow with us as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Soar Autism Center. Our speech language pathology team provides pediatric speech therapy within an interdisciplinary early intervention model for children ages 26 with autism. Our care model incorporates the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) a naturalistic developmental approach designed for young children with autism.

As a Speech Language Pathologist youll help young children build meaningful communication skills while growing your expertise in pediatric care AAC and interdisciplinary treatment.

Role Details

  • Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules depending on location and center maturity

  • Base pay:$86000.00 - $103500.00/year per year

  • Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3800 with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications

What Youll Do

  • Assess speech language and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 26 in an early intervention setting

  • Develop and implement communication interventions including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate

  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs BCBAs psychologists and other clinicians

  • Integrate communication goals into Soars ESDM-informed approach to early intervention

  • Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy

  • Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each childs day

  • Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data clinical judgment and each childs evolving needs

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position

  • Current license to practice speech language pathology

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • AAC experience is a plus but not required

  • Strong clinical judgment communication and relationship-building skills

  • Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care
