Job Summary


Come join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowat Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention comprehensive supportive services and positive developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically we focus on an integrated autism care model tailored to young children with autism.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as one of our on-site Speech Language PathologistClinical Fellowand plan and implement naturalistic speech therapy for young children ages 1-5years old in a center-based setting

  • Receive hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs

  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination withother clinical specialties (BCBAs OTs psychologists)

  • Develop communication interventions for young clients including but not limited to AACdevices to support client communication

  • Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team specifically collaborating with BCBAs RBTsoccupational therapists and mental health professionals to plan and implement effectiveprograms for young kids including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team

  • Monitor client progress update treatment plans and goals and communicate neededchanges to team members and families

  • Partner with client families to develop goals build relationships communicate progressand coach and support them in their journey

Qualifications

  • Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy

  • Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

  • License to practice speech pathology

  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams

  • Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children

  • Clinical Fellows must hold a provisional Colorado license by their start date at Soar.
