POSITION SUMMARY

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech language voice and swallowing disorders supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assess speech language and swallowing abilities.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
Document evaluations treatments and patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements. REQUIRED
Meet the education and experience requirements for the Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA. REQUIRED
Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered. REQUIRED
ASHA certification as listed in the job description. REQUIRED
CPR certification. REQUIRED
Strong communication skills and clinical judgment. REQUIRED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Rehabilitation or acute care experience.
