Conduct comprehensive AAC evaluations including feature matching device trials and communication needs assessments in collaboration with the SLPs and IEP and implement individualized AAC intervention plans aligned with IEP goalsSelect customize and program AAC systems (low-tech to high-tech) based on student needsMaintain an inventory of AAC tools (hardware and software) and order more equipment as neededMonitor student progress and adjust AAC systems and intervention strategies accordinglyMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal state and district guidelines
Valid California Services Credential- Clinical or Rehabilitative Services in Language Speech and Hearing or Masters In Speech Pathology and License from Audiology BoardAbility to work with students who have language speech disabilities.
