Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurosurgery NP/PA you will help patients suffering from neurological or neurosurgical disorders manage their acute and chronic conditions so they can achieve better health through comprehensive high-quality neurosurgical care.

Every day you willperform neurosurgical consultations round on inpatients assist in surgery and support both surgeon-led and independent will be expected toassess diagnose and treat patients order and interpret diagnostic tests prescribe medications and provide extensive patient education and counseling.

To be successful in this role you willpossess the clinical training to perform neurosurgical evaluations and the collaborative skills to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient-centered care.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current and unrestricted California license and certification
  • First-assist surgical experience and comfort in both clinic and OR settings

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in Neurosurgery strongly preferred
