As Specialist Experiential youll help reimagine the iconic Scout brand by creating experiences that bring our story to life through product launches community events cultural activations media programs and employee experiences.
Reporting to the Manager Experiential youll independently lead experiential programs while supporting larger high-profile initiatives across the Scout portfolio. Leveraging your expertise in experiential marketing and event production youll evaluate opportunities solve complex challenges and recommend solutions that balance business objectives brand standards and customer experience.
Operating with considerable independence youll partner with cross-functional teams senior stakeholders agencies and vendors to deliver exceptional experiences that strengthen connections with customers communities partners and employees.

- Support the planning creative development and execution of Scouts portfolio of lifestyle experiences product launches community events cultural activations media programs and internal brand experiences.
- Partner with the Manager Experiential to develop event concepts themes and programming that authentically reflect the Scout brand and resonate with our growing community.
- Independently lead smaller-scale events and experiences from initial concept through post-event wrap-up while supporting larger tentpole activations and launches.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously balancing timelines budgets priorities and stakeholder expectations across approximately ten events annually.
- Develop and manage comprehensive event plans production schedules run-of-show documentation staffing plans logistics vendor coordination permitting and onsite execution activities.
- Evaluate event operational and stakeholder challenges applying sound judgment and experiential expertise to develop creative solutions recommend actions and drive successful program outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across all levels of the organization building strong relationships influencing decisions and providing guidance on event strategy attendee experience and execution best practices.
- Partner with external agencies production partners suppliers and vendors to ensure exceptional execution while maintaining Scouts quality and brand standards.
- Manage program budgets purchase orders invoices expense tracking reconciliations and financial reporting throughout the event lifecycle.
- Coordinate attendee communications travel logistics and event preparation materials to ensure a seamless participant experience.
- Support the development of event marketing plans in partnership with Communications Community Digital and Social Media teams to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Capture key event learnings by collecting attendee feedback measuring performance against established KPIs and preparing post-event recaps with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes documentation and operational efficiencies that help the Experiential team scale as Scout continues to grow.
- Serve as an ambassador of the Scout brand during onsite events by fostering memorable experiences for customers partners media and employees.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of theScout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Travel: Requires approximately 30% domestic travel to support events launches and brand experiences throughout the United States.
- Requires occasional travel to the Scout Motors Innovation Center in Novi Michigan the Scout Motors Production Center in Blythewood South Carolina and other event locations as business needs require.
- Valid drivers license required. Passport required.

- Bachelors degree in Marketing Event Management Communications Hospitality Business or a related field.
- 48 years of experience producing events experiential marketing programs brand activations or lifestyle experiences.
- Experience independently managing events from concept through execution and post-event reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in experiential marketing event production or brand activation with a strong understanding of industry best practices operational planning and attendee engagement strategies.
- Strong project management organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently while contributing in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to assess ambiguity influence stakeholders translate strategy into memorable experiences and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Experience managing vendors production partners agencies and event suppliers.
- Experience tracking budgets managing purchase orders invoices and financial reconciliation.
- Strong negotiation problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Outlook Excel PowerPoint Teams and SharePoint.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as event schedules require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing events for consumer brands lifestyle brands sports music outdoor or cultural events and activations.
- Agency experience supporting experiential marketing integrated marketing campaigns or event production.
- Experience supporting premium customer experiences product launches or community engagement programs.
- Familiarity working within fast-paced matrixed organizations where collaboration across multiple departments is essential.
- Passion for the outdoors adventure community building and creating meaningful brand experiences.

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range $85000.00 - $105000.00
