Job Summary
The Special Projects Coordinator serves as a key member of the UNC School of Law administrative team responsible for executing high-priority strategic projects events and operational initiatives that support the Schools mission and leadership objectives. This position coordinates all aspects of complex events and special projects including scheduling and calendaring travel arrangements catering venue logistics vendor coordination and stakeholder communications. Working across a broad range of internal and external constituencies the Special Projects Coordinator ensures projects are completed efficiently professionally and with exceptional attention to detail. The successful candidate will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with faculty staff students alumni donors trustees vendors and other external partners. The position requires advanced administrative and technology proficiency including expertise with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint Teams SharePoint and Copilot) Concur travel and expense management RASR and project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana CRM systems Planner Power Automate Forms OneDrive Adobe Acrobat and similar enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized technologically sophisticated resourceful and capable of managing multiple competing priorities while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
