Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in a center-based autism classroom in Mead CO. In this role youll provide individualized instruction implement IEPs and create a structured supportive learning environment tailored to students with autism. Youll work alongside a collaborative school team and a supportive therapist-run company.

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction in a center-based autism classroom
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
• Support students with academic behavioral and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Use evidence-based strategies and resources to support student growth
  
  

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Fingerprinting as required for the position
• Experience working with students with autism preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred but not required
