About the Role

Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support students in Centennial this role youll provide individualized instruction implement IEPs and create a structured inclusive learning environment that helps students succeed. Youll work collaboratively with school staff and a supportive therapist-run team.

What Youll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects

• Support students with mild to moderate disabilities

• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured supportive environment

• Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and families

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
  

What Were Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement

• Experience working with K-8 students preferred

• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

• School-based experience preferred not required
