Special Education Teacher Michigan Full-Time School Year

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join a Michigan school district for the academic year. This full-time school-based position is a strong fit for an educator who values differentiated instruction collaborative teaching and creating effective learning experiences for students with varying academic and behavioral needs.
The selected teacher will support students receiving special education services across resource and inclusive settings providing instruction and interventions tailored to individual learning goals. The role involves partnering with classroom teachers specialists administrators and families to coordinate services monitor student development and promote academic progress and positive classroom engagement.
What Youll Do:
- Support positive behavior strategies and inclusive classroom practices.
- Use student data to evaluate progress and refine instructional approaches.
- Modify curriculum assignments and assessments to improve access to instruction.
- Develop implement and maintain IEPs in accordance with Michigan and federal requirements.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP objectives.
- Maintain regular communication with families regarding student performance and development.
- Participate in collaborative planning with general education teachers and related service professionals.
Requirements
Candidates should have a bachelors or masters degree in Special Education or a related field along with strong instructional planning organization communication and classroom management abilities. Experience in resource inclusion or self-contained special education environments is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement or meet eligibility requirements for certification.
