PURPOSE STATEMENTThe job of Special Education Instructional Assistant III is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional assigned self-contained classroom comprised of students with significant cognitive delays physical al program within emotional educational or behavioral needs or in a general education classroom that includes students with these needs; acting as a learning resource; assisting in supervisioncare and instruction assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time; and providing information to appropriate school personnel. This job reports to the Assigned Supervisor.
