Special Education Coordinator (Secondary)

Salary Range:$70865 - $70865 (Minimum to Midpoint)
Contract days: 226

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree Masters Degree preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Five (5) years secondaryspecial education teaching experience
• Knowledge of content area curriculum writing implementation and delivery of professional development
• Demonstrate leadership abilities in Special Education curriculum

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrates experience in the are of Special Education
• Some knowledge of bookkeeping basic accounting invenotry control and financial software programs that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
• Valid Texas drivers license
• Working knowledge of word processing and data-based software
• Ability to interpret policy procedures and data
• Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with budget preparation and the purchsing process preferred
