Special Cutter

Looking for a new opportunity in the cabinet industry Join our team as a special cutter and help us create high-quality custom and semi-custom cabinets for our customers. Our specialized cutting solutions require a skilled hand and an eye for detail and if you have experience in the industry that is an added bonus! As a special cutter youll be responsible for creating precise and accurate cuts using our state-of-the-art tools and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Employee will cut finished and specialized panels.
• Additional responsibilities include detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls and replacing blades.
• Prepares machine for production. Cleans and maintains machine tooling and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition.
• Will rotate through operation of other cutting department machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Hours:

• Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm
• Friday 7am until production is complete (no later than 5pm)
• Rare Saturdays

General Requirements:

Showplace provides job specific training prior to assigning employees to their position. We are looking for a candidate that either possesses or is willing to acquire the following skills:

Must be 18 or older

Basic reading & writing skills

- Computer fluency

Ability to stand for more than a few hours at a time

Ability to bend and twist over the course of your shift

- Fluency with tape measure

Communicate well with co-workers on work-related topics and questions

Ready to work in a fast-paced environment

Work in a loud environment

- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
