Spa Therapist

Job Summary
- Provide professional massage therapy body treatments and wellness services in accordance with hotel spa standards treatment protocols and applicable licensing requirements
- Conduct guest consultations to assess wellness needs preferences contraindications and treatment recommendations appropriately
- Maintain treatment rooms equipment linens and spa areas in a clean sanitized and organized condition
- Ensure guest comfort privacy and confidentiality throughout all spa experiences
- Educate guests on spa services wellness recommendations retail products and home care suggestions as appropriate
- Maintain accurate service documentation and treatment records in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations
- Follow all sanitation infection control workplace safety and professional licensing standards
- Assist with spa setup preparation and operational support as assigned
- Promote spa services wellness offerings and retail products professionally and responsibly
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests questions and service recovery opportunities
- Support spa events VIP experiences wellness programs and promotional initiatives as assigned
- Maintain professional appearance demeanor and conduct consistent with luxury hospitality standards
- Participate in required trainings meetings and continuing education as operationally required
Qualifications :
- Current Louisiana Massage Therapy License required if performing massage therapy services
- Additional spa esthetics or wellness certifications preferred depending on assigned services
- Previous spa wellness massage therapy or luxury hospitality experience preferred
- Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of massage techniques wellness treatments anatomy contraindications and spa sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain professionalism discretion and guest confidentiality at all times
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings evenings weekends holidays and extended shifts as operationally required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
