Sous Chef

As SousChef youll lead the culinary execution for special events crafting exceptional menus and overseeing banquet and kitchen operations to ensure every dish delights our guests. Reporting to the Executive Chef youll maintain the highest standards of quality safety and presentation. This role offers a path to exciting culinary leadership opportunities in the future.

• You will be the creative force in our kitchen crafting delicious meals that delight our guests.
• Your daily tasks will include menu planning overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
• You will report to the Executive Chef.
• A career as a sous chefcan lead to opportunities as an executive chef culinary director or even owning and operating your own restaurant.

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• Previous experience in this exact position
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• A combination of education and experience

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications such as a culinary diploma.

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
