Job Summary
Position SummaryThe System of Support Inclusion (Toileting) position is responsible for providing academic behavioral and social support to students with special needs. This role includes assisting with student behavior supporting inclusion practices and helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Primary Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide academic social and behavioral support to students with special needs individually and in small in implementing lessons and activities by reinforcing concepts and offering individualized or small-group maintain a safe secure and structured learning environment; assist with classroom behavior a physically and emotionally safe environment for both students and every student feels known accepted valued and respected through positive communication and awareness of ProYouth program goals expectations and with the ProYouth Employee Handbook and all organizational policies and positive professional relationships with coworkers supervisors ProYouth leadership site principals teachers and all responsibilities accurately and on other related duties as assigned within the scope of training and experience.
Education and Experience RequirementsCollege degree with a focus in Special Education school diploma or equivalent AND48 completed college units ORNCLB Paraprofessional Education training required; Special Education Training Certification least one year of experience working directly with students with behavioral challenges in an educational implementing behavior intervention plans as part of a training in applied behavioral in supporting students with toileting needs Prevention Intervention (CPI) training With Care training required.
