Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) ishiringaSonographer for our OB/GYN ClinicinBolivarMissourisomeone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positivelyimpactevery patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status:PRN
• WorkShift:Days
• Hours:20 hours every 2 weeks

What Your Day Looks Like:You will be preparing patients for exams operating sonographic equipment analyzing images and collaborating with other healthcare providers and team members to provide caring individualized treatment to our patients.

As aSonographer you will be:

• Interviewingpatients to gather medical history
• Explainingthe ultrasound process
• Ensuringphysical and emotional comfort for patients during exams
• Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations appropriate to patients ages and treatment plans
• Positioning patients during examinations to assure optimal imaging has been achieved;re-imagingas necessary
• Documenting findings and ensuringimages are properly recorded

Qualifications:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program -RDMS certification (Abdomen OBGYN and RVT) preferred
• Experience: 1 year ofclinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
• Licensure/Certification: Certified bythe American Registry of Medical Sonographers
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing walking stooping bending
