As a Sonographer at MercyOne you will:

• Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN abdominal breast small parts and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records

• Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies

• Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff

• Know understand incorporate and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission Vision Values Actions and Promise in behaviors practices and decisions

Schedule:

• 40 hours a week

• Days

• Monday - Friday

General Requirements:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

• Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)

If not registered be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.

• ARDMS preferred but ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted

• Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CMEs every 3 yrs/annual payment)

• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
