Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include but are not limited to health insurance (medical dental vision) 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommend architectures based on technical and cost considerations
• Help teams migrate applications to containers
• Design efficient hybrid/on-prem public cloud solutions
• Plan cost-effective DR solutions
• Understand networking and security challenges
• Coach developers on infrastructure and architecture decisions
• Analyze existing networks and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement system options risks costs versus benefits and impact on enterprise business processes and goals.
• Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
• Assist in the development of and manage an architecture governance process.
• Provide technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.
• Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprises architecture needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Strong Solutions Architecture / Cloud Architecture background
• Kubernetes and container technologies are a high priority
• Experience migrating or modifying application architectures for container/Kubernetes platforms
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking
• Experience with AWS is required; GCP and Azure; OpenStack is also relevant
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and private cloud environments
• Experience with security disaster recovery and cost optimization
• Ability to work closely with developers/application teams and provide technical architecture guidance
• 5-8 years as a Solutions Architect with numerous years of Telecom work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning architecture design security and optimization.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
