Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Roles: Senior Solution Architect / Migration Lead
- Key Technologies: Microsoft Purview Azure Fabric Azure OneLake Power BI Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Databricks Snowflake Informatica (EDC Axon IDQ DPM) SQL Python PySpark REST APIs Apache Atlas.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Migration Execution: Drive the technical execution of Informatica to Microsoft Azure migration initiatives across assessment implementation and support phases.
- Architecture Design: Design target-state architectures leveraging Azure OneLake Azure Fabric Power BI and Microsoft Purview. Lead architecture workshops roadmap planning and MVP delivery.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Purview Azure Databricks Snowflake and on-premises systems.
- Governance Mapping: Translate Informatica Axon governance models stewardship assignments and roles into Purview Governance Domains and RBAC frameworks.
- Policy & Security Engineering: Architect and implement automated governance workflows policies and personas (Data Stewards Owners Producers). Design Microsoft Information Protection sensitivity labels DLP policies data masking and unified security models (RBAC/ABAC).
- Pipeline Modernization: Lead Azure Data Factory pipeline modernization efforts to replace Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ mappings.
- Metadata & Lineage: Oversee metadata extraction technical lineage migration and business glossary migration using REST APIs SDKs Apache Atlas-compatible APIs and Purview templates.
- Data Quality: Design profiling validation and data management frameworks.
