Software Validation Engineer

This role focuses on validating software features across vehicle electronic systems including powertrain body controls safety systems diagnostics and communication networks. You will develop and execute software validation test plans perform handson testing using DAQ and diagnostic tools analyze system behavior identify defects troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate closely with software electrical and systems engineering teams to improve functionality safety and reliability.

This is a Temp-to-Perm position required to be fully On-site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 35 years of software validation or embedded systems testing experience in automotive EV or manufacturing environments
• Handson experience with embedded software testing diagnostics and communication protocols
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as: Python (automation scripting data analysis) CAN tools (Vector CANalyzer/CANoe Kvaser PCAN) Autosar (Classic or Adaptive) MATLAB / Simulink Microsoft Office
