Software Tester Portsmouth, VA

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Software Tester to join our team in Portsmouth VA.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solve technical problems related to engineering.
• Assure that the product and its manufacturing process meet quality and safety standards.
• Test equipment to make sure the manufacturing process operates effectively and safely.
• Interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Collaborate closely with developers analysts and Agile team members to identify defects validate software fixes refine requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery. Experience with C# Blazor Kubernetes Nutanix and containerization preferred.
• Evaluate system behavior and maintain traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create test plans and traceability matrices.

EDUCATION:

• Five (5) years of professional experience to include 3 years of application software testing.
• High school diploma related military experience trade/industrial school graduate or GED.
• Software testing certification is desired but not required.
