Summary
Seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to support software validation across prototype devices builds and release environments.
The role focuses on designing implementing and maintaining automated test suites improving test coverage analyzing failures and supporting release readiness. The engineer will collaborate with senior engineers PMs and engineering leads on automation frameworks CI/CD integration and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automated test suites for functional regression smoke performance and release validation testing.
- Execute automated test plans analyze failures reproduce issues and provide diagnostic reporting.
- Contribute to scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Track document and verify software defects and release risks using bug tracking systems.
- Support release validation regression testing and post-release verification.
- Configure and maintain prototype devices and test environments.
- Create test documentation execution reports coverage summaries and quality metrics.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 7 years of experience in software testing test automation or quality engineering.
- Experience with automated test frameworks CI/CD integration and release validation workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting defect analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience testing software across devices builds and environments.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and collaboration with development teams.
- Android testing experience is a plus.
