Job Description:
As a Software Test Analyst you will play a key role in ensuring the quality reliability and performance of enterprise applications by designing and executing both manual and automated testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with development business analysis and product teams to validate system functionality identify defects and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. This role requires strong expertise in test automation API testing and Agile methodologies along with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications
• Analyze requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to create effective testing strategies
• Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test data for comprehensive testing coverage
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and similar platforms
• Automate testing processes using frameworks such as Playwright Selenium or Cypress
• Identify document and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps
• Conduct various types of testing including functional regression integration performance and accessibility testing
• Generate test reports metrics and insights to support decision-making
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries and database testing techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in test environment setup and maintenance across development lifecycle stages
• Support performance and load testing initiatives using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and secure development practices

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• 5 years of experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases
• 5 years of experience analyzing requirements and creating reusable test cases
• Strong experience with test planning strategy development and documentation
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
• Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Playwright Selenium or Cypress
• Proficiency in Java for automation scripting and test framework development
• Experience writing Gherkin scenarios and implementing step definitions
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and database testing
• Experience using version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with teams
• Experience with Playwright for Java automation (preferred)
• Background in Selenium WebDriver automation (preferred)
• Experience with Azure DevOps testing modules (preferred)
• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android) (preferred)
• Experience with performance testing tools and CI/CD integration (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
