The Internet Technologies QA u0026 Ops team is seeking an experienced and passionate software Quality Engineer to be part of the regression defense team. Our teams design and engineers the communication cornerstones of iOS macOS tvOS watchOS and visionOS for: Phone Facetime and Contacts applications. Were looking for critical thinkers to play a key role qualifying Apples software releases and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. We need someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with rapidly changing priorities and someone creative and inspired to invent new ways to help build better products.

You will be responsible for planning crafting maintaining and driving test cases. You will work to identify reproduce and isolate bugs found through concise bug reporting. Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams management and other organizations within Apple. You will need to be highly technical organized creative motivated and passionate about achieving results.

Participate in defining testing strategies and methodologies to enhance overall software concise reports and updates on test coverage issues and product quality to and manage test data tools and utilities to streamline testing processes and enhance document and track software defects collaborating with developers to resolve issues swiftly and test results troubleshoot failures and generate detailed reports on software quality and product improve test automation coverage by integrating new tests and refining existing industry discussions forums and security reports to anticipate potential risks attacks and exploits and design tests that proactively address closely with developers engineering program managers and multiple QA teams to comprehend feature requirements and ensure comprehensive test a great teammate with the ability to mentor peers and take on leadership roles within the regression testing efforts maintaining high quality releases

BS in Computer Science Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).nExperience with Python Swift or other object-oriented programming understanding of development lifecycles testing methodologies and QA in developing comprehensive test plans test cases and automating debugging and troubleshooting skills with a passion for quality.

Proven experience working on multi-functional projects collaborating with various teams to achieve project at debugging troubleshooting and critical thinking on bug using Xcode to write triage and debug automation scripts as well as test harness enhancements primarily focused on UI interpersonal skills facilitating clear and effective communication across team members and -motivated and resourceful with a proactive approach to to establish and maintain productive working working in fast-paced development environments with rapid release cycles and tight deadlines.
