QA Automation Engineer
Location: Holtsville NY (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)
Schedule: Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support manual and automated testing for software browser mobile and API applications. This role will work closely with Product Owners Developers QA and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases through effective testing strategies automation and CI/CD support.
Key Responsibilities- Design develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts for web mobile and API testing.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites and test procedures.
- Create test plans test cases and testing strategies based on business requirements.
- Perform functional regression system integration acceptance and performance testing.
- Collaborate with QA Developers DevOps and Product teams for implementation and deployment.
- Identify bugs perform root cause analysis and document issues.
- Support CI/CD pipelines automated builds testing and deployments.
- Work in Agile environments and follow QA best practices.
- Lead QA-related activities and mentor junior team members.
- 5 years of QA experience with both manual and automation testing
- Strong experience with Playwright or Selenium
- Strong programming experience in Java or Python
- Experience with JUnit or PyTest
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes (DevContainers)
- Experience with Kafka and MQTT
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with GitHub Actions / CI-CD
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Hybrid role 3 days onsite in Holtsville NY
