Milacronis looking for aControls Software Engineerto join our team inBatavia this position you will be responsible for the development and testing of control system software for new product development including HMI and PLC-based controls that monitor and operate injection molding and plastic extrusion machinery. You will support the software development lifecycle by designing and implementing new features on existing control platforms while adhering to established control architecture and development Youll Do:Develop and test control system software for injection molding and plastic extrusion implement and maintain new features on existing control web-based front-end applications using JavaScript C# and and enhance legacy software systems utilizing backend machine control software in PLC environments using Structured Text and/or and control machine functionality through HMI and PLC established software architecture standards and coding style with a global team of developers to support product development and apply industry knowledge related to injection molding and extrusion in training mentoring and ongoing technical development & Skills:3 years of experience developing software for industrial automation machine controls embedded systems or related in C C# Python and JavaScript including software design debugging testing and maintenance of production programming experience using IEC 61131-3 languages including Structured Text and Function Block developing HMI applications and machine control software for industrial with scripting and automation languages such as Python PowerShell and Bash to support development testing deployment and engineering using Azure DevOps Git and modern source control practices including branching strategies pull requests CI/CD pipelines and Agile development with industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP EtherCAT PROFINET Modbus TCP/RTU OPC UA MQTT and serial designing configuring and troubleshooting industrial networks and communication protocols including integration of drives HMIs PLCs I/O systems robots and third-party integrating third-party devices controls and software solutions from external vendors OEMs and system collaborating within cross-functional and global engineering teams to develop and maintain commercial software SkillsB&R Automation Studio TwinCAT 3 to read electrical schematics and hydraulic molding or plastics industry experienceQt framework experienceEmbedded Linux developmentExperience with AI-enabled engineering -connected industrial systems or Industry 4.0 technologiesExperience with Pascal.
