Software Engineer

Key Information:
Work Model: On-site 5 days per week

Company: Leading Investment Firm in Stamford Connecticut

Key Responsibilities:
-Build and maintain full-stack software applications supporting investment research and internal business processes
-Develop production-quality applications using TypeScript and modern full-stack technologies within the T3 ecosystem
-Write Python for scripting automation data processing and internal tooling
-Design and work with relational databases and write production-quality SQL
-Participate in the full software development lifecycle from problem definition and architecture through implementation testing deployment and maintenance

Requirements:
- 2 to 7 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
-Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack development
-Strong hands-on Python experience withability to read and write Python for scripting and automation
-Experience working with AWS and cloud-based application environments
-Strong understanding of relational databases
-Experience writing production-quality SQL
-Strong software engineering fundamentals including clean code testing debugging and system design
-Strong problem-solving skills and genuine curiosity about technology and data

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with AI engineering LLM APIs or generative AI applications
-Experience building AI-powered automations or agentic workflows
-Experience working with financial markets investing fintech quantitative research or financial technology
-Academic background in finance economics mathematics statistics computer science or another quantitative discipline
