Location: San Francisco CA (in-person 5 days a week)
Compensation: $175000 - $225000 per year

What Youll Own
- Build production agents against audit specifications handed over from the deployment team
- Ship client-specific deployments that integrate with existing enterprise systems of record
- Own code quality with a focus on real software engineering rather than low-effort AI-generated output
- Take ownership across systems rather than waiting for direction
- Grow toward leading a small team within 6 months of joining
What Youll Bring
- 1-4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Real software engineering fundamentals including systems thinking and the ability to ship production code that holds up under real use
- Genuine AI-native experience having built real production work with tools like Claude Codex or agent frameworks
- Low ego and high feedback velocity integrating feedback quickly and moving on
- Speed and a strong bias toward shipping
- Comfort with ambiguity taking ownership without waiting to be told exactly what to do
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate working in person 5 days a week
Nice to Have
- A background at a top AI-native startup
- Strong independent project work or active open-source contributions
- Prior experience with agent infrastructure or LLM-powered applications
