Software Engineer, R&D Health Enablement

Opening available for Software Engineer R&D Health Enablement at Cotiviti South Jordan UT:

Design develop test and maintain healthcare quality and health enablement software applications. Develop server side and web based applications using object oriented programming principles building responsive user interfaces integrating relational databases and cloud based services and implementing scalable and maintainable application components. Develop APIs and business logic performing unit testing using version control and build automation tools and collaborating with cross functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver secure reliable and high quality software solutions.

Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field. Five (5) years of experience in software development for enterprise or customer-facing applications. Employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field and Two (2) years of experience in software development for enterprise or customer-facing applications in lieu of a Bachelors degree and five years of experience. Pre or post Masters degree experience is acceptable. Experience must be post-bachelors degree. Work experience to include: Two (2) years of experience in software development including object oriented programming and application development using C# based technologies; Two (2) years of experience designing developing and maintaining server side and web based applications; Two (2) years of experience building responsive user interfaces using HTML CSS and client side scripting technologies such as Angular or TypeScript; Two (2) years of experience working with Oracle or similar relational databases; Two (2) years of experience developing applications on cloud based platforms including the use of object storage and messaging services; Two (2) years of experience software development principles such as modular design maintainability and SOLID principles; Two (2) years of experience with Unit testing methodologies and TestDriven Development (TDD); Two (2) years of experience with Version control systems and collaborative code repositories; Two (2) years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools; and Two (2) years of experience working in Agile or iterative development environments using collaboration and documentation tools to support development and delivery. Base compensation ranges from at least $153192. Specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience education skills certifications and other business needs.
