Job Summary
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL)seeksa creative and talented engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving the lives of people. This role is full stack working on both frontend and backend development. Your primary focus will be designingimplementingand supporting React based frontends and C# based backends and integratingwith MES and ERP systems and interfacing with factory equipment to create highly automated manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate on the specification design implementation deployment and testing of software applications.
Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing testing and deploying software.
Prepare andmaintaindesign and specification documentation.
Serve as a technical contact for internal customers.
Model teach and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree inComputer ScienceCS or a related field orequivalent practical experience
2 years experience withapplicationdevelopment including:
Databaseintegration
C#andMicrosoft.Net
Communication protocols:AMQPCFX SMEMAHermesRS232TCP/IP
Collaborates in a team environment
Ability to learnnew skills and assume new responsibilities
Excellent writing documentation and speaking skills

Pay Range Data
Associate Software Engineer $84200 - $124500. Software Engineer $97700 - $144400. Our compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience skills knowledge and training. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on their background. As a result pay may vary to align with the level of the role.
