DPP is seeking a Software Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Camarillo CA
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; must hold a current/active Secret security clearance

Position Description:
- Develop embedded real-time system software.
- Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.
- Resolve software and system defects.
- Collaborate with our customers internal sites and disciplines.
- Participate and contribute to peer reviews critical milestone reviews and technical inter-change meetings.
- Use project dependent tools including:
- Rational Clear Case ClearQuest DOORS
- Git Bitbucket Jira Confluence
- Ada C/C C# Python
- Green Hills Integrity RTOS Windows and Linux
- BS degree in a STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Math) with 3 years of experience.
- Experience with a higher order language such as Ada C/C C#.
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
- Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. git Bitbucket ClearCase etc.).
- US Citizenship required.
- DoD Secret Clearance or higher interim Secret is acceptable.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Strong collaborative mindset.
- Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.
- Experience programming with Ada language.
- Experience programming with C language.
- Experience with real-time embedded software development.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
