Join us in shaping the future of infrastructure automation for law enforcement systems. As a Software Engineer youll drive the development of an infrastructure provisioning and automation platform. This platform enables engineering teams to self-serve infrastructure such as databases and Kubernetes clusters through infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AWS CDK. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on execution. Were looking for someone with a solid foundation in software development fluency in languages like Go or Java and extensive experience architecting cloud solutions.
Location: This role is based out of our Seattle WA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. What Youll Do
- Build robust easy-to-use foundational platforms and tools that enable engineering teams to provision infrastructure rapidly consistently and securely across multiple cloud providers
- Write code in Go that is performant maintainable clear and concise
- Employ strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug problems in cloud native distributed systems
- Provide robust documentation for use by engineers to promote self-service
- 2 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience building and scaling complex and impactful software products in a team environment
- Deep skill in driving technical solutions across multiple teams
- Strong experience using languages such as Go Python C# Java or similar.
- Strong experience managing infrastructure in the cloud (AWS or Azure preferably)
- Experience with Terraform Terragrunt and CI/CD
- Experience designing tooling to simplify the operational management of SaaS/PaaS systems.
- Empathy to support the needs of software engineers.

Axon is a total compensation company meaning compensation is made up of base pay bonus and stock awards. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level function training transferable skills work experience business needs geographic market and often a combination of all these factors.
