What youll be doing

Youll be joining CIBCs Commercial Banking Technology and Payments area and be at the heart of CIBCs digital transformation developing easy flexible and personalized banking solutions to enhance client experience and change the way that people bank. As an Application Developer youll help develop test and help with the implementation of cross-functional multi-platform application systems. Within a group of senior team members youll broaden your technical skills and help create the bank of the future.

How youll succeed

• Programming skills - Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review evaluate and modify programming systems including encoding testing and debugging.

• Systems implementation - Participate in the technical design development and integration of cross functional multi-platform application systems.

• Planning and coordination - Interact with stakeholders end users business analysts and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate 3-5 yearsexperience indesigning developing implementing and supporting applications with expertise in most of the following: Developing implementing and supporting applications with expertise across most of the following areas: Databases (Oracle SQL Server) Cloud (Azure AWS) ETL (Informatica SSIS) Application Development ( C# JavaScript) SSRS Advanced UI Development (preferably React) and Tools (Git TFS JIRA Azure DevOps).

At CIBC we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $70000.00 - $85000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
