Key Responsibilities
- Software Application Development: Design develop test and deploy production-grade applications modules and REST APIs using Python.
- Database Design & Management: Build query and optimize relational and/or non-relational databases connected to Python backends.
- Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean readable modular and reusable Python code adhering to OOP SOLID principles and proper software engineering practices.
- System Optimization: Analyze application performance debug bottlenecks and optimize database queries and backend workflows.
- Testing & Version Control: Write unit tests perform integration testing and maintain code versioning through Git.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional product architecture and engineering teams to turn feature requirements into technical solutions.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field from a Tier-1 / Premium Institute.
- Core Python Expertise: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in software development with Python (deep understanding of data structures OOPs asynchronous programming modules and packaging).
- Database Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience interfacing Python with databases using ORMs (e.g. SQLAlchemy Django ORM) or native drivers.
- Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB Redis) including writing complex SQL queries and indexing.
- Backend / Web Frameworks: Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI Django or Flask.
- Software Engineering Fundamentals: Strong problem-solving skills knowledge of data structures algorithms and system design basics.
- Development Tools: Proficient with Git Linux environments Docker and RESTful API integration.
- Experience with message queues or event streams (e.g. RabbitMQ Celery Kafka).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Obsession with code quality test coverage and software design patterns.
- Clear technical communication and collaborative mindset.
