Job Summary

Amazon Web Services is looking for talented software engineers to join us in building the software systems that power the worlds largest network. Youll work on distributed systems and AI-driven solutions that transform how networks operate where software makes intelligent decisions and automation handles the this role youll take ownership of meaningful technical challenges while collaborating with a skilled team to shape the future of network infrastructure.


Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions that integrate seamlessly into our distributed system architecture
- Own the complete development lifecycle for assigned features including design implementation testing deployment and operational support
- Collaborate across teams to understand requirements share technical insights and ensure solutions align with broader system goals
- Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge providing constructive feedback and supporting the development of other engineers
- Identify and drive technical and process improvements that enhance system reliability performance and team productivity

We are a collaborative group of 100 engineers committed to reimagining how networks are operated through software and automation. We work in small autonomous teams where your contributions directly impact our customers and the broader organization. Together were building the infrastructure that enables intelligent automated decision-making at scale. - 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
