The Sales Assistant team builds products that improve the effectiveness of Amazon Advertisings global sales this role youll develop generative AI applications agents customer-facing UX workflows and web services turning large datasets and disparate systems into actionable insight-driven products that help sales teams serve both world-renowned brands and small businesses on Amazon. The ideal candidate has built scalable production gen AI applications and tackled challenges such as accuracy hallucinations and context limits.

Key job responsibilities
- Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs propose features create early prototypes and transform them into exciting experiences.
- Propose innovative tools frameworks automations and processes that are used by the entire services team for development.
- Write clean maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
- Deep-dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance maintainability scalability extensibility as needed.
- Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
