Job Summary
Overview
As a Senior Developer within the Payments Central initiative you will be responsible for designing
developing and maintaining modular microservices that support our unified payments platform. You
will work closely with architects product analysts and QA teams to deliver scalable secure and
high-performance payment solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise a strong
understanding of financial transaction processing and the ability to contribute to strategic platform
enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop microservices using SpringBoot and open-source technologies.
Implement and maintain NoSQL databases and PostgreSQL for scalable data management.
Integrate event streaming APIs to support real-time transaction processing.
Ensure cybersecurity and compliance across all development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and delivery timelines.
Participate in code reviews testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Support migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

Strong proficiency in Java EE and SpringBoot frameworks.
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
Experience in transactional processing systems within financial services.
