As a Software Developer Intern youll work with crossfunctional teams to support the design development testing and enhancement of technology solutions. Youll gain exposure to modern development practices and AIenabled workflows while building strong foundations in programming problemsolving communication and responsible use of emerging technologies.

How Youll Make an Impact
Develop an understanding of CGIs industry focus clients organizational structure and business objectives.
Build trusted relationships by asking thoughtful questions actively listening and clearly communicating ideas.
Collaborate with clients and crossfunctional teams to translate business and technical needs into organized actionable inputs.
Assist in designing developing and testing software features using programming languages frameworks and tools appropriate to project needs.
Support troubleshooting debugging and issue resolution to help ensure solutions are reliable and meet business and technical requirements.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation including designs code comments test cases and project deliverables.
Use modern and AIenabled development tools to support coding research documentation testing debugging and solution development.
Apply responsible AI practices with appropriate human oversight to ensure attention to privacy accuracy security and quality when using AIenabled tools.
Participate in meetings workshops testing sessions and project discussions to support solution development and delivery.

What Youll Bring
Current enrollment as a thirdyear student in a bachelors degree program in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship. Certain positions may also require U.S. Citizenship and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance based on client or government requirements.
Curiosity professionalism and a strong desire to learn about software development and technologyenabled problemsolving.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with comfort navigating ambiguity and complex information.
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Exposure to at least one programming or scripting language and familiarity with general technology concepts through coursework or personal learning (preferred but not required).
Interest in learning and responsibly using modern and AIenabled development tools frameworks and emerging technologies.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience and training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.00 - $30.00.
