About the Role

Hello School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers to support students in Golden CO. In this role youll provide individual and group social-emotional support collaborate with school teams and families and help students navigate academic behavioral and social challenges. Youll work closely with educators and other specialists while receiving support from a therapist-owned and operated company.

What Youll Do

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
• Support crisis intervention de-escalation and safety planning as needed
• Participate in IEP MTSS and student support team meetings
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers families and related service providers
• Support attendance engagement and wraparound services for students and families
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
• Maintain timely accurate and compliant documentation
• Connect families to community resources and supports
  
  

What Were Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker license/credential
• Masters degree in Social Work or a related field
• Strong communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
• Experience supporting students with diverse academic behavioral or social-emotional needs preferred
