Soccer Coach (BoysA Team) Needed

Location: Williston Central School

Williston Central School is seeking a caring and knowledgeable soccer coach to lead our Boys A team for the 2026 fall season. We are looking for an individual who can foster a competitive and supportive environment while helping athletes develop both on and off the field. This is a part-time Category B stipend position. The season begins on Wednesday August 26 2026 and runs through October 23 2026. Weekly commitments include practices four afternoons per week (Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday) from 2:50 PM to 4:15 PM in addition to scheduled games.

Primary Responsibilities

• Organize supervise and lead practices and scheduled games providing skill development for middle school athletes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture to enhance each athletes experience.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding practices cancellations games and team goals and expectations.
• Maintain emergency contact information manage team equipment and uniforms and remain aware of all players health concerns.
• Complete all mandatory district trainings including district-provided compression CPR training.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• Demonstrated experience playing or coaching soccer; experience coaching middle school athletes is preferred but not required.
• A thorough understanding of soccer and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with studentathletes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to fostering a positive team experience.
• A commitment to inclusivity and building a supportive environment for all student-athletes.
