Job Summary
Essential Functions
Strategic Leadership & Program Development Develop and implement strategic plans to expand SNAP E&T GAP Assistance and other programming. Establish annual performance benchmarks aligned with federal and state requirements. Identify funding opportunities and support grant development initiatives. Operational Management Oversee daily operations of SNAP E&T GAP Assistance and other programs as they develop. Ensure effective case management documentation and supportive service coordination. Monitor participant flow credentials attainment and employment outcomes. Ensure accurate participant eligibility determination and data integrity Supervision & Staff Development Supervise and evaluate program staff including Career Placement Coordinator Career Skills Coaches and other assigned staff Provide coaching professional development and performance feedback. Foster a culture of accountability and student-centered service. Compliance & Fiscal Oversight Ensure compliance with SNAP E&T GAP Assistance and institutional regulations. Oversee budget management expenditure tracking and reimbursement processes Prepare required reports for state agencies and funding partners. Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation. Manage and align multiple funding streams to maximize program impact and sustainability Workforce & Community Engagement Build partnerships with Nebraska employers workforce boards and community agencies. Represent SCC in workforce and community meetings. Support SCCs training pathways with high-demand industries in the service area. Data & Continuous Improvement Analyze program performance data to inform decision-making Lead continuous quality improvement efforts. Ensure accurate reporting of credentials obtained and employment outcomes. Participate in the Division Management Team Participate with the Dean of Continuing Education to develop division goals and objectives plan in-service programs for the division evaluate and formulate division operating procedures and policies and assess the overall performance of the division. Supervise division operations during assigned evening and weekend hours. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with all divisions and programs. Professional Growth Participate in professional conferences and meetings relevant local state or national educational activities and maintain relationships with professional counterparts and other institutions. Serve as an educational adviser for individuals and training and development personnel for community and business organizations as requested. Maintain Relationships with Professional Counterparts and Other Institutions. Serve as an educational advisor for training and workforce development for community and business organizations as requested. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in public administration education workforce development or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of workforce development adult education or a related field. Supervisory experience. Demonstrated budget and program management experience.
