EarthBalance is a company of employees who have a passion for restoring the natural environment. We use a large variety of small engine tools and equipment that need constant maintenance and repair.

Duties:
At EarthBalance our small engine techs diagnose repair and overhaul small engines used to power pole saws chainsaws recreational vehicles and other related equipment.

• 
  Ability to work extended hours.
• 
  Minimum 6 months of experience and/or training in small engine repair; or a combination of education and experience.
• 
  Experience with general maintenance of off-road vehicles like UTVs and ATVs.
• 
  Experience in automotive and diesel service is a plus.
• 
  Must have a valid drivers license a minimum of 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• 
  Acetylene and electric arc welding experience is a plus.
• 
  Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

  This position is performed in outside weather conditions where the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles moving mechanical parts and vibration.

  The employee will be frequently exposed to a variety of extreme weather and environmental conditions at project sites.

    Quickly move hands hands together with arms or two hands to grasp manipulate or assemble objects.

    Keep hands steady while moving the arms or while holding arms and hands in one position.

  • See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Coordinate two or more limbs (for example two arms two legs or one leg and one arm) while sitting standing or lying down.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 75 pounds.
