This person facilitates access to capital by providing hands-on support and guidance to small business owners and entrepreneurs helping ensure their success through education and personalized assistance.

What Youll Do

• Guide clients through the business loan application for Mi Gente loan Fund approval and closing process
• Review financial documents conduct credit analysis and prepare loan recommendations
• Maintain accurate loan and client records in the DownHome CRM system
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurs
• Facilitate business workshops and group lending classes
• Connect clients with resources funding opportunities and community partners
• Build relationships with business owners banks community organizations and stakeholders
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with lending requirements

Youll Know Youre a Good Fit If...

• You have 1-3 years of experience in lending banking customer service collections or administrative support
• Youre organized detail-oriented and skilled at managing multiple priorities
• You enjoy building relationships and helping others succeed
• Youre comfortable reviewing financial information and maintaining accurate records
• Youre proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Youre mission-driven culturally responsive and committed to supporting small business growth
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
