Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Lead Advisor (Grant Funded)

Arizona Western College is seeking a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Lead Advisor to work directly with small manufacturers and startups participating in the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA). This role will help business owners identify opportunities develop practical growth strategies and connect with resources to move their businesses forward.

Grant funded through the Empower to Grow Program this is an opportunity to combine business expertise with meaningful support for entrepreneurs across Southwest Arizona. Typical Duties:

• Serves Small Business Association (SBA) SBDC-standard business advisement to Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA) Track 2 and Track 3 participants.
• Coordinates capital access referrals to SBA loan programs USDA programs and private lenders.
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Small Business Association (SBA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) certified advisor or equivalent
• 5 years of small business advising experience
• Financial analysis and business planning expertise
• Knowledge of SBA lending programs
• Applicants may indicate any additional language proficiencies in their application materials including English/Spanish as relevant to the position
  

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Arizona Drivers License or Equivalent

Salary:
$75000 per year

• Location: Wellton Campus
• Benefits Eligible
• Grant Funded (Empower 2 Grow Grant) Scheduled to end no later than August 2027
• Exempt $-month annual salary
