Job Summary

Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. Evidence of qualifications may include:Associate degree and/or graduation from Speech-Language Pathology AssistantCertificate program; orBachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication disorders;andSuccessful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent andDemonstration of competency in the skills required of an SLPA.

Valid California drivers licenseOwn reliable transportation and verification of insurance coverage (mileage reimbursable)

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant works with students who have identified speech and language disorders as well as other disabilities.
