BASIC PURPOSE
The Coordinator Slotting will support an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties.

Monday- Friday
6AM- 2:30PM

The starting pay is $28/hr.


Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education specific skills function geographic location and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between 17.30 and 28.83. This role will also receive overtime compensation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry cooler freezer PIR) to promote a safe working environment maximize warehouse efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
  • Monitor research and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.
  • Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
  • Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
  • Perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits rack labels TI/HI and pallet put-aways).
  • Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status receiving errors or safety concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work will take place both at a desk in a US Foods office-based environment and in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Related Experience/Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
  • Strong math analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word Excel Access and Outlook.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior slotting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
  • Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.

Certifications/Training

  • XATA and Checkpoint experience.
