Skilled Laborer
Location: Hillsboro OR
Pay: Up to $30/hour (Based on Experience)
Skillforce is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers for a project in Hillsboro OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a respected contractor supporting maintenance operations on specialized cooling equipment used in a data center environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work have strong mechanical abilities and can follow detailed instructions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
Assist with routine maintenance activities on outdoor cooling equipment
Remove and replace air filtration components as directed
Clean equipment coils and related system components to support optimal performance
Operate hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively
Follow established procedures work instructions and project schedules
Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements and company policies
Previous experience in general labor maintenance construction or a related field preferred
Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new processes quickly
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to use common hand tools safely and efficiently
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to pass a background check
OSHA 10 Certification
Competitive compensation up to $30/hour depending on experience
