Skilled Laborer

Skillforce is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers for a 3-month project in Ashburn VA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a respected contractor supporting maintenance operations on specialized cooling equipment used in large industrial facilities/data centers.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work have strong mechanical abilities and can follow detailed instructions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

• Assist with routine maintenance activities on outdoor cooling equipment

• Remove and replace air filtration components as directed

• Clean equipment coils and related system components to support optimal performance

• Operate hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively

• Follow established procedures work instructions and project schedules

• Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements and company policies

• Previous experience in general labor maintenance construction or a related field preferred

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new processes quickly

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to use common hand tools safely and efficiently

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to pass a background check

• OSHA 10 Certification

• Competitive compensation up to $30/hour depending on experience
