Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Due to continued growth increased customer demand and record sales we are expanding our manufacturing operations and seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our 2nd Shift Team. CNC Machinists will operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Load parts in machines cycle machines detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots communicate with co-workers regarding production runs and maintain safe organized and clean work environment. Schedule
- Full-Time
- 2nd Shift (3pm - 11PM)
- Overtime available as needed
Some Essential Responsibilities
- Perform typical machine shop operations
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
- Perform Preventative Maintenance and document as required
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
- Operates two or more CNC machines efficiently including setup and deburring without assistance
- Perform inspection of machined products measuring parts to meet print specifications
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
- Perform basic troubleshooting as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CNC associates degree from Technical School required (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Experience running and setting up CNC lathes and/or mills
- Effective communication skills and a working command of the English language
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods
- Frequent bending kneeling twisting crouching and repetitive movements
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 35 pounds independently; assistance available for heavier items
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and machinery
